Data Robotics Drobo FS announced

Data Robotics has just announced its latest Drobo FS Network Attached Storage (NAS) device that will come with all the advantages of the Data Robotics BeyondRAID technology, alongside a drop-dead simple setup. Initial impressions of the device have been favorable, with a user claiming that setting up the device is a snap - all you need to do is install the Drobo Dashboard software on a computer on the network, where it will then go ahead and handle all of the setup decisions on your behalf, freeing your brains for other stuff. A dual core processor runs within, where one of the cores will power the embedded proprietary OS and the other core running Linux. Each Drobo FS comes with five 2 TB drives, retailing for $1,449 - any takers?
